Women's Equality Coalition luncheon

What: Vildana Tinjic will speak about differences and similarities between Bosnian and US women/girls’ situation. Vildana is a war survivor from Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she worked as a nurse from 1992-96. Vildana immigrated to the United States in 2006. She works as an Environmental Health Specialist with Public Health.

When: Noon-1:30 pm March 8

Where: Hills Bank, 3204 7th Ave., Marion

Tickets: $15 (benefits scholarship fund) and includes lunch.
